Blogging Milestone–There’s No Cake

I got a WordPress notification that I hit a blogging milestone today:

And this time the badge isn’t for something arbitrary, like the time I was informed that I had gotten 2,294 likes (or something like that) on my blog.

500 followers! Hard to believe. I’ve been at this roughly 10 months, which is the longest I’ve stuck with any personal type writing.

I started this blog to work through/vent about anxiety and depression, plus talk about my experiences as a parent and sound off on whatever else needed sounding off on. A lot has changed over the past 10 months, diagnosis-wise and otherwise, and many of y’all have seen me through a lot of ups and downs.

So I’d like to say thanks to everyone who has followed, engaged, and supported. Big virtual hugs all around.

To sort of celebrate, I’d like to invite y’all to post links to your own blog or a favorite post you’ve written in the comments section. I wouldn’t go so far to call this a Blog Party–more like a Blog Get Together Where No One Gets Cake–but feel free to reblog this to invite your bloggy friends to promote their blogs as well. 🙂

  1. Congrats that’s awesome! 😎❤️ Now to give you a laugh- ummm- how do I know how many followers I have and who they are?! 😳🙈 lol I’m lucky I comment and post and go that far- anything beyond that is too much for my ADHD to handle lol

Yay for 500! Your blog will evolve and grow as you do – it’s interesting to watch the transformations that occur by looking at posts past and present. Everything needs cake, though. I’m on my phone, so no links for now, but anyone is welcome to visit me over at 🙂 keep up the great work!
